Testing.... 02/05/2009

It dawned on me this morning how I can create those nice links that say something instead of me having to just cut and paste the web address. So I thought I'd try it out. Check out this awesome winter craft. I know it's late for Christmas but it's definitely in my mind for next year. And how cold would these be all lit up for a photo shoot?

I think it worked!  Bwa-ha-ha-ha.  I had pretty much given up on links.

I made D's pasta salad!  This is something I always greatly enjoy eating but have never made myself.  And guess what, she's right?  It's not hard.  At all.

I used tri-color rotini, colby jack cheese cubes, pepperoni (a lot of pepperoni.  i really love pepperoni) and green olives.  I was going to use black olives too but accidentally got "chopped" black olives which evidently means "black olive paste".  Also a bottle of "Light Done Right" italian dressing.

It's really good.  Next time I will use some harder cheese.  The cheese cubes are a little soft for my liking.  But get this!  My all-of-a-sudden EXTREMELY picky two year old even likes it.  Well, he only likes the white noodles from it.  But this salad scores a million points for me just for that fact.

It dawned on me last night what I needed to do in order to have a Links page!  It was so simple and obvious...but of course those are the kinds of things I usually have the hardest time with.

Right now we've only added a handful of links but we hope to share lots more soon.  Let us know if you want to exchange links!  It's like the internet's version of friendship beads, isn't it?

Yay Us! 08/19/2008

It's our first post!  We are simply delighted to be sharing our meals and ideas with the rest of the world.  Every day we email each other our dinners from the previous night and then talk about what we could do with it next time.

From time to time we will update the blog with links to favorite crafts or home designs or anything that suits our fancy.   Be patient with us because we are slowly learning this site.

Comments are highly welcome.  Let us know if you've tried one of our meals and what twists you've put on it.  Send us your own tried and true recipes and we'll try them out and publish them to our site!
