I'm not going to completely bypass Thanksgiving and skip straight to Christmas. No way. It is, after all, my second favorite holiday!
Here are a few things I am thankful for...
My husband...he's taught me all about True Love and patience.
My children...they've taught me more about patience...but I'm thankful for every thing they do and are.
My mother and my sister...for being the strongest women I know....even when they think they're not
My sister-in-law...who has raised some awesome teenagers who are the best Role Models I could ask for for my children.
My niece and nephews-for being as awesome as they are.
My MIL...for her generosity.
E & M...Oh my goodness. I couldn't ask for better friends.
Chocolate and coffee and TV and Netflix and video games and L'Oreal and my crappy ipod and all of the other material things that make up my days...
In honor of my favorite season I've revamped the site a tiny bit. The new header features photography by M. Aren't those leaves gorgeous? I adore Fall. I'm also sickeningly jealous of those people in the areas of the country that actually get to witness it. I've been stalking the trees in my back yard for anything close to the reds and golds pictured above but to no avail...I found some yellow. and some sickly looking browns. ...But I will continue my efforts.
Soon it will be Thanksgiving...my second favorite holiday. Normally I get to feast upon my brother's mother-in-law's cranberry sauce...but I won't be seeing them this year. I got the recipe and will do a test run of it this weekend, afterwards I will post it here. Cranberry sauce is definitely my favorite Thanksgiving Treat. What's yours?
