I had never had guacamole before Saturday. Mostly because it is green, and also because avocados are mushy and slimy and creepy. But the boy asked me to try and make some, so I dove in.

4 ripe avocados

a lime

4 serrano chili peppers

4 cloves garlic

about 1/2 of a red onion

fresh cilantro. Like maybe 1/2 a cup or so.

Peel the avodados. (EW. SO SLIMY.) Remove the pits. Mash them up in a bowl. Add the juice of a lime. Mash more. Chop your chili peppers after you de-seed them (BE CAREFUL. That oil gets under your nails and stays for days.) Chop your garlic and onions and cilantro. (I used a fun chopper for this. A food processor thingie.) Dump everything in the bowl. Mix. Chill. Eat.

Hey are you guys still updating? I'm still loyal! I actually have a sandwich recipe I would like to share. It's really yummy! I concocted(sp?) it the other day with things I already had in my fridge. I know I can't tell recipes as good as you guys but here goes:

Ingredients you will need:

- tortilla wrap (plain or flavored)
- chive flavored cream cheese
- sprouts (whatever kind you like)
- honey maple turkey (that's what I used but you can use whatever you prefer)
- baby swiss cheese
- cucumber
- submarine dressing or italian dressing
- salt and pepper

Take a tortilla wrap and spread a thin layer of the chive cream cheese all over it. Then add a few slices of turkey and swiss cheese. Slice the cucumber and put slices on top of cheese. Then pile it with sprouts. Give it a tiny dose of submarine dressing, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Wrap it all up and slice it in two. Enjoy!
